Codelock
Product, architecture, development and PM
iOS · Web · Admin panel
Shops here sell iPhones on instalments and then lose track of who has paid. Codelock keeps every sold phone under the shop’s control: the schedule is built from the price and the monthly payment, a late payment locks the phone in one tap, and a received payment unlocks it straight away.
- Works at the device level
- No app
- Instalment schedules
- UZS + USD
- Uzbek, Russian, English
- 3 languages
What it does
- Enrol a phone at the point of sale, with the customer and the terms recorded there and then
- Lock it in one tap when a payment is late, with the shop's message on the screen, and unlock it as soon as the money arrives
- Build the schedule from the price, the deposit and the monthly payment, in som or in dollars, so the shop keeps its ledger in the panel instead of a notebook
- See the whole portfolio at a glance: sales by month and year, how much is still owed, and every phone by status
- Find a phone by name, number, IMEI or serial, and filter by model, status, date or debtor
- Read it in Uzbek, Russian or English, on a phone as well as a computer
How it works
Codelock talks to the phone's own management system the way Apple allows, rather than around it. There is no app in between to delete, the limits sit at the device level, and a factory reset doesn't set the phone free. The link is encrypted, the shop never sees what is on the phone, and the data stays in Uzbekistan.
